VIDEO GAMING MARKET OVERVIEW
Home video game systems continue to provide more realistic graphics, better sound fidelity and more intricate storylines, but many home consoles and PC's still rely on the standard 'dual thumbstick' gamepad design. Only recently have developers been exploring new and innovative means of user interface. Games such as Guitar Hero and video game consoles such as the Nintendo Wii have proven that
engaging a players body, as well as their mind, provides a more fun and immersive experience.
Video game controllers that utilize IA-Labs ISOCORâ„¢ technology
measure the amount of force the user applies (either to the controller directly, or part of the controller) and translates the force into gameplay. Interaction Labs launched the Exerstation game controller in 2006 and will be updating the device to work with the latest generation of home video game consoles. IA-Labs will also be releasing 2 new video game products in early 2009 that will revolutionize the way users interact with PC's and video game systems.
While the details of the 2 new products are currently confidential, the website will be updated with new information is it becomes public.
IA-Labs is continually working on new products and technologies that measure user input in more unique ways so the physical gaming experience continues to match the advancing audio and visual experience.
